Three schools earn Reward School status

Pegram Elementary Fine Arts Magnet School, Kingston Springs Elementary School and Sycamore High School have been identified as a Reward School by the Tennessee Department of Education for the 2022-2023 school year.

Reward School status is the top distinction a school can earn in Tennessee. Across the state, 400 schools received the Reward School designation.

Schools receiving this designation exemplify student success in achievement and growth in the tested areas.

This is the seventh time that KSES has been named a Reward School. The school also received the honor in 2012, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022.

This is the second time PEFAMS has been named a Reward School. The school also received the honor in 2018. This is the first time in school history that Sycamore High School earned the designation.

Our district was designated as an “Advancing” district by the TDOE for the 2022-2023 school year.

This is the second highest rating a district can achieve on the state’s accountability model.
