Solar project a finalist for national award

We are excited to announce that our new outdoor solar classroom at Sycamore High School has been named a finalist in the IDC Government Insights' seventh annual Smart Cities North America Awards (SCNAA).

As you might recall, we received a Connected Communities grant from the Tennessee Valley Authority to help fund this innovative project.

We need the most votes to win so help us go from finalist to award winner by clicking HERE to vote.

The Cheatham County Solar Innovations project is a finalist in Category 6: Economic Development, Tourism, Arts, Libraries, Culture, Open Spaces (e.g Connected Museums, Kiosks, Event Management).

There is only one vote per category per person. Voting ends at 5 p.m. EST on Friday, March 8.
