Virtual learning contracts

Families in the Cheatham County School District who have selected virtual learning are required complete a Virtual Learning Contract.

As a reminder, if virtual learning has been selected, families will need to have adequate access to the Internet and a computing device to complete the required instruction.

Students in grades K-4 will have to provide their own device for at-home use. The district will provide a laptop for students in grades 5-12. Laptops for students in grades 5-6 have been ordered and will be distributed as soon as they arrive.

The contract is due by Aug. 12.

The contract can be downloaded below (we have an English and Spanish version), filled out and emailed to your child’s principal.

Middle and high school families can also drop them off Aug. 10-12 when they pick up their laptops, schedules, etc. OR hard copies will be available for them to sign on those days. Additionally, hard copies are available for pickup in containers outside the school, and those can be returned to the school.

Elementary school families can also drop the contracts off at the school before Aug. 12 OR hard copies will be available on any planned instructional material pick-up days Aug. 10-12.

If you have any questions about how to return the contract, please contact your child’s school directly.
