The Cheatham County School District is excited to announce its school-level Teachers of the Year for the 2019-2020 academic year.
The Teacher of the Year program honors educators who exceed expectations to provide meaningful and rewarding learning experiences for the students of Cheatham County.
The school-level Teachers of the Year are:
• Ashland City Elementary School: Tammy Retchless
• East Cheatham Elementary School: Cynthia Vondohlen
• Kingston Springs Elementary School: Jill Hutchison
• Pegram Elementary School: Wendy Conner
• Pleasant View Elementary School: Lanita Puthoff
• West Cheatham Elementary School: the late Vickey Ford
• Cheatham Middle School: Sarah Kilgore
• Harpeth Middle School: Allison Mueller
• Sycamore Middle School: Molly Gibson
• Cheatham County Central High School: Lauren Street
• Harpeth High School: Jason Nauert
• Sycamore High School: Shea Phillips
• Riverside Academy: Bill Parsley
The district-level Teachers of the Year from each academic level (elementary, middle and high) will be announced at a later date. All the teachers will be honored at a banquet in May.
