The Cheatham County School District will begin kindergarten registration the week of May 4.
Children must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 15, 2020, in order to be eligible to start kindergarten during the 2020-2021 school year.
The registration process has been announced by each of our six elementary schools:
Ashland City Elementary School
For those who elect to register using printed materials and wish to enroll at ACES, you may pick-up and drop-off registration materials May 4-7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.at the front entrance at ACES. Any copies/pictures can be scanned to Nicole Crowder at email@example.com. Registration questions may also be sent to Mrs. Crowder.
East Cheatham Elementary School
Registration packets will be available in a bin out in front of the school beginning May 1 and will be accepted at the main office from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 5-8. Please call the main office number at 615-746-5251 when you arrive at the school. If you need to send electronic copies of required documents, email them to Janeen.Harris@ccstn.org. If you have any questions, call the main office or email Principal Paul Boles at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Kingston Springs Elementary School
Registration packets will be available for pick-up May 4-8. Packets will be located in a bin located at the front entrance of the school. Please drop-off completed packets with required information on May 8 from 9 a.m. to noon. A school representative will be present to collect these at that time. Any copies of required documentation may also be e-mailed to Principal Lucas Winstead at email@example.com.
Pegram Elementary Fine Arts Magnet School
Registration packets will be available for pick-up May 4-8. Packets will be located in a bin located at the front entrance of the school. Please drop off completed packets with required information on May 8 from 9 a.m. to noon. A school representative will be present to collect these at that time. Any copies of required documentation may also be e-mailed to Principal Detra Emery at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Pleasant View Elementary School
Registration packets are available in a tub outside of the school’s front office. Packets can be returned May 4-8 at the school gym entrance from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. They will be reviewed at a later time. The school will not make copies at this time. Someone will contact you later if anything is missing. Packets can also be mailed to the school, 2625 Church St., Pleasant View, TN 37146.
West Cheatham Elementary School
Registration packets will be available for pickup at the front door of the school May 4-8. They will be in a tub marked “Kindergarten Registration Packets.” Parents can return their completed packets on Monday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to noon. Any copies and/or pictures can be scanned to attendance secretary Pam Brown at email@example.com. Registration questions may also be sent to Mrs. Brown.
Below (under attached files), you can download a packet that includes all the required forms that need to be completed. Both English and Spanish versions are available.
You can print the forms, fill them out and return to the schools on the designated dates for each school (see schedule above) or you can email the forms, along with all the required documents, to the individual listed for each school.
The required documents include:
• Proof of child’s age (birth certificate, passport, tax return or medical document)
• Immunization record/proof of physical exam(must be up-to-date on official State of Tennessee form)
• Three current proofs of residence (examples: driver’s license, utility bills, rent/mortgage agreement, voter registration, bank statement, auto registration, etc.)
• Custody/Guardianship paper signed by a judge (only if child is not living with both biological parents)
Students will not be allowed to attend kindergarten until the required documents are received.
