COVID-19 reopening survey information

As the Cheatham County School District makes plans for the 2020-2021 academic year, we encourage our families to complete a survey that has been emailed to our families.

The survey was sent to the email of the person who is the household primary point of contact in Skyward.

We are asking our families to complete the survey by Thursday, July 9. If there is no response from your family by that date, then school administrators will begin reaching out to you Monday, July 13 to indicate your preference between traditional or virtual instruction.

Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our reopening plan is composed of three learning models. This was presented and discussed at the June 25 Board of Education work session.

The teaching and learning models are traditional (with a virtual option), hybrid and remote. We plan to open under the traditional model.

The implementation of these models will be based on Cheatham County’s COVID-19 active infection rates.

Should health guidance suggest a path outside of traditional, then we will follow our reopening plan and move to either the hybrid or remote models, with our decision based on data.

For those who did not receive a survey via the primary email address on file in Skyward and want to participate, please contact your child’s principal for a link to your specific school survey or click on the school link BELOW.

If you have children in multiple schools in the district, then you need to complete a survey for each school.

If you have multiple children in one school, then one survey will be sufficient as long as you have listed all children attending that school.
