Due to an increase in positive COVID-19 cases and exposure, Pleasant View Elementary School students will transition to virtual learning on Friday, Dec. 11 through Friday, Dec. 18.
In-person classes will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 5 when the second semester begins.
PVES will communicate with families about its academic instruction plans while students are all virtual.
The school’s student daycare and employee daycare will be closed on Friday, Dec. 11 while the building is disinfected. Our daycare staff will communicate with families about the hours of operation after Dec. 11.
There will be a food distribution on Wednesday, Dec. 16 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Breakfast and lunch will be available for PVES students and any other children in the family, ages 0-18. Meals can be picked up around the back of the building at the cafeteria doors.
No extra-curricular activities, including sports, can be held at PVES through Christmas.
