ACESA, SMS move to virtual learning Dec. 16-18

Due to a shortage of staff from COVID-19 quarantine, Ashland City Elementary STEM Academy and Sycamore Middle School will transition to virtual learning beginning Wednesday, Dec. 16 through Friday, Dec. 18.

In-person classes will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 5 when the second semester begins.

Both schools will communicate with families and students about academic instruction while students are all virtual.

The ACESA student daycare staff will communicate with families about the hours of operation for Dec. 16-18.

There will be a meal pick-up on Dec. 16 at both schools. Free breakfast and lunch meals will be available for students and any other children in the family, ages 0-18. The pickup time at ACESA is from 9-11 a.m. and SMS is from 9:30-11:30 a.m.

All extra-curricular activities, including sports, are cancelled for both schools.
