Henegar joins district as family coach

The Cheatham County School District is happy to announce that Carol Henegar has joined our team as a family coach.

As the family coach, Henegar will be responsible for assessing families in need of resources to prevent homelessness, help families set goals to finish their education, obtain employment, housing and transportation needs and provide other resources that meet the individual needs of the family.

This position is the result of a new partnership between the district and United Way of Greater Nashville.

Henegar comes to the district with several years of experience in domestic violence and sexual assault victim's advocacy and is also an ordained minister. She is studying at Liberty University, where she will earn her associate degree in criminal justice in May. In the fall, she will begin working on her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice psychology through Liberty.

Henegar loves Cheatham County and looks forward to serving the wonderful people who live here.

Please join us in welcoming Henegar to our team as she serves in this important position.
