The Cheatham County School District is happy to announce that Katelyn Binkley has joined our team as a family engagement specialist.
As the family engagement specialist, Binkley will be pairing families with community resources to help achieve their goals, creating events targeted at helping at-risk families meet their needs and providing training to families to aide in developmental support.
This position is the result of a new partnership between the district and United Way of Greater Nashville.
Binkley comes to the district from Robertson County, where she served in the school-based therapy program. After receiving her bachelor's degree in psychology from University of Tennessee Chattanooga, Binkley earned a masters in clinical mental health from Tennessee Tech University.
She is especially passionate about helping families facing homelessness.
Binkley is so excited to become a part of the Cheatham County School District and begin helping families in the community.
