Second semester schedule beginning Feb. 1

Middle schools in the Cheatham County School District will transition to the traditional learning schedule beginning Monday, Feb. 1.

This means students in grades 5-8 at Cheatham Middle School, Harpeth Middle School and Sycamore Middle School will attend school in-person five days a week.

Additionally, it is our hope that our high schools will transition from the hybrid learning schedule to the traditional learning schedule in mid-February. Our projected target date is Tuesday, Feb. 16 – the day after the Presidents Day holiday.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 health data, both in the district and Cheatham County, as we make our decision regarding our high schools. If that date changes, we will communicate that information as quickly as possible with you.

Our elementary schools will continue to operate on the traditional learning schedule.

As always, students who opted for the all-virtual learning model for the second semester will remain virtual if they are meeting the terms of the virtual learning contract.

Masks/face coverings are still required for all students when they are attending school in-person.

If you have any questions about academic instruction or schedules, then please contact your child’s teacher(s).

As always, thank you for your cooperation as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.
