As part of our county-wide push for success this year with the ACT, our high school academic directors at Cheatham County Central High School, Harpeth High School and Sycamore High School will be hosting two virtual ACT review sessions for ALL juniors in the Cheatham County School District on Friday, Feb. 26 from 11:15-11:45 a.m. and 12:30-1 p.m. through Microsoft Teams.
These sessions are designed to give our students a final rundown of various key ACT test-taking strategies, in addition to important study tips and suggestions as students go into their final weekend of ACT test preparation.
There will also be an opportunity for students to ask questions at the conclusion of each session.
All juniors (virtual and in-person students) at CCCHS, HHS and SHS are asked to attend one (or both sessions) depending on their fifth-period lunch schedule and links to each session will be sent to all juniors on Thursday through both county email and Schoology.
If students or parents have any questions, they can contact HHS academic director Ryan Philipp at [email protected].
The ACT will be administered on Tuesday, March 2 to all juniors (including those who are virtual). This will be a virtual learning day for students in grades 9, 10 and 12 and they will not attend school in-person on this day.
