Meet the HHS valedictorian, salutatorian

Haley Gipson, Valedictorian

Haley Gipson is the valedictorian of the Harpeth High School Class of 2021.

During her time at HHS, she served as president of the National Honors Society and participated in FFA, Concert Band and Chemistry Club.

Gipson also played soccer and ran track. She earned All-District honors during her sophomore year. 

Her favorite memory was winning regionals in soccer during her junior year.

“The student section was super loud, and everyone ran onto the field at the end of the game,” she recalled.

Gipson plans to attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and major in wildlife biology. 

 

Will Collier, Salutatorian

Will Collier is the salutatorian of the Harpeth High School Class of 2021.

During his time at HHS, he was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, soccer and basketball teams, theatre program and National Honor Society.

He is a member of the Pegram Church of Christ youth group, the Cheatham County Youth Leadership program and Boy Scouts of America.

His top accomplishment during high school was earning the rank of Eagle Scout on Sept. 27, 2020.

His favorite memories were getting to play soccer with all his friends and winning prom king.

Collier plans to Tennessee Tech University to major in chemistry. He plans to enter the medical field afterwards.
