Alex Barnhill, Valedictorian
Alex Barnhill is the valedictorian of the Sycamore High School Class of 2021.
During her time at SHS, she was a member of the Student Council (vice president), National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and Spanish Club.
Barnhill was a soccer standout for the Lady War Eagles, serving as captain and earning a multitude of awards.
Her top accomplishments were breaking the Cheatham County record for career goals scored in girls soccer (136 total), maintaining a 4.0 throughout her entire high school career and achieving a 35 on the ACT.
Her favorite high school memory was her junior year Dual Enrollment U.S. History class with Mr. Taylor McCullough when they learned about trench warfare and had a Nerf war in class.
She plans to attend Centre College in Danville, Ky., where she will play soccer. Her major is undecided.
Bryson Lee, Salutatorian
Bryson Lee is the salutatorian of the Sycamore High School Class of 2021.
During his time at SHS, he was a member of the National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, FCA, Pep Club, Technology Student Association, Yearbook and Student Council.
His top accomplishments include producing an award-winning yearbook, being named Mr. SHS, being selected as Homecoming king and serving as the student body president.
His favorite high school memory was having a nerf war in history class to re-enact World War II trench warfare and having a great senior field day.
Lee plans to attend Tennessee Tech University to pursue a degree in civil engineering.
