The Cheatham County School District has named Amber Pennington as the academic specialist at Pleasant View Elementary School.
Pennington is a 2012 graduate of Austin Peay State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in K-6 elementary education.
She has been teaching for eight years – two years in Robertson County before transitioning to Cheatham County.
“I am so honored and excited to be the academic specialist at Pleasant View Elementary School. I love this community and the families I get to work with. While I will miss my students, I am thrilled to work with this excellent staff to help our students be the best they can be. Go Panthers,” she said.
