Supervisor, principal of the year named

The Cheatham County School District is proud to announce that Wendy Cox has been named the Supervisor of the Year and Jason Pierschbacher has been named Principal of the Year.

Cox has been with the district for 25 years, teaching at Pleasant View Elementary School and Kingston Springs Elementary School. She’s also served as an assistant principal at Harpeth Middle School and principal at East Cheatham Elementary School.

She has served as the Human Resources Supervisor since 2019 and is also currently serving as the interim principal at Pegram Elementary Fine Arts Magnet School.

Pierschbacher has served as the principal of Pleasant View Elementary School since 2019.

Before joining the district, he served in a variety of positions for 11 years with the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, including assistant principal at Rossview Middle School and assistant principal at Kenwood High School.

Congrats to these outstanding educators! They will now advance to the state-level competition in their respective category.
