CCCHS hosting Steak Dinner on April 29

This year’s steak dinner at Cheatham County Central High School will feature a one-night only performance of the Million Dollar Quartet – the story of the real-life night in 1956 when Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins all happened to be at Sun Records at the same time.

When the boys begin to jam, legendary record executive Sam Phillips hits “record” and the rest is rock-and-roll history.

The cast includes a mix of current CCCHS students (Joseph Gholson as Johnny Cash, Staley Gasser as Jerry Lee Lewis, Peyton Hudson as Sam Phillips, and Elisha Keeler on drums) and recent graduates (Dillon Vance as Elvis Presley, Caleb Goode as Carl Perkins, and Seth Stewart on bass) who are all volunteering their time to benefit their alma mater.

The steak dinner fundraiser will take place on Saturday, April 29.

Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. The meal and silent auction start at 5 p.m. Entertainment begins at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $30 for a single and $50 for a couple. Tickets can be purchased from CCCHS staff member, at the front office or by contacting School Board member Jimmy Harden at [email protected]
