There is a vacancy on the Cheatham County School Board in District Three.
School Board member Tim Ray, who is moving out of state to Kentucky, has resigned his position effective May 25.
District Three includes the Pleasant View area.
Anyone wishing to be considered to fill this vacancy should submit in writing their request to the Cheatham County Clerk, 354 Frey St., Suite F, Ashland City, TN 37015, by Monday, June 19 at 4 p.m.
The Cheatham County Commission will appoint an interim School Board member in District Three at its Monday, June 26 meeting. The individual selected will serve until August 2024.
