The Cheatham County School District is excited to announce that Fisher Bailey will serve as the new assistant principal at Pleasant View Elementary School beginning with the 2024-2025 school year.
Bailey will replace Nicole Galbreth, who is stepping into the school’s principal position next year.
Bailey has worked with the district since 2015. He has taught physical education and coached the boys basketball team at Sycamore High School since 2021. He previously taught and coached at Cheatham Middle School for six years.
A 2012 graduate of SHS, Bailey earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education with a minor in elementary/secondary education from Austin Peay State University in May 2015. He is currently working on his degree in administration and supervision.
Bailey was a member of the district’s Aspiring Administrators Academy in 2023.
“I am beyond excited to be appointed as the next assistant principal for Pleasant View Elementary School. Although I will miss all of my students at Sycamore High School, I am looking forward to the new adventure and working with an amazing group of educators and students,” he said.
