High school students who are members of the Director of Schools’ Student Advisory Council met on October 22 for the first time this year at the Board of Education office.
The council meets several times throughout the year with Director of Schools Stacy Brown and is made up of 12 students — four representatives from each of the county’s three high schools.
Appointment to the council provides opportunities for students to collaborate with one another and provide input to the district.
Council members receive this appointment as a freshman and continue serving on the council until graduation.
Transportation and lunch are provided for the students when they meet with Mrs. Brown.
Members of the 2025-2026 Student Advisory Council are:
• Cheatham County Central High School: Kaely Quichocho, Caison Pfeffer, Halle Duncan and Kobe Williams
• Harpeth High School: Bennett King, Tara Davenport, Tatiana Wilson and Camryn Turnbloom
• Sycamore High School: Easton Shearon, Rio Marin, Alondra Reynaga and Jazzy Nichols
