Communications Director & Grant Writer
The Cheatham County School District's Communications Department serves as the link between the district and the Cheatham County community. The department works with the local media and supports media contacts at each school.
Communication is established through the district's website, social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), Cheatham Achieves blog and news releases to the local media.
The department is also responsible for supporting the district's needs through seeking and applying for external funding and providing compliance assistance for awarded grants.
Additionally, the department builds relationships with local community groups and fosters relationships with partners in education in the business sector.
